TDs and Hosts: We have many helpers in the club who do a wonderful job. BUT, our tournaments are growing in size and more help is needed to avoid low registration limit for our tournaments. Bidding/Alerting/Explanations

In the ‘Members’ section of this web-site is now created a section where it is given examples of bids that should be alerted and how explanations of bids should be done. This is meant as a main guideline for players and directors. Please read this section and give feedback. It is made place for suggestions and comments from members.

Player caught cheating

Not long ago, SB caught a member in cheating.   The club has focus on good behaviour and fair play and does not tolerate behaviour that puts the pleasure of bridge in danger for our members.       read more…..

My SB Ranking

All members of SB get Ranking points in EVERY tournament they participate. Most points to the winners, then gradually less points the further down on the result list one end. The lower ca 50 % of the result list for each tourney is rewarded with 1 point.

At the main website’s Ranking section, everybody can view general lists of awarded ranking points.

In  the login Member Area the SB members now can view a detailed interactive  presentation of their own achieved ranking points. Here the members can get different totals and specifications. It is a very quick way of getting the status of your own ranking points. Check it out and get used to USE it

Reporting a game:

For several reasons, you may want to report a board played in one of our tourneys. This must be done in ENGLISH. This, like all communication with SB, is done in the Contact SB section of this website.

Limit on number players

in our tourneys

Number of TDs registered to run a tourney regulate how many players can join that tourney. It MAY be limitations on number pairs (players) in our tournaments where we have not enough TDs registered. If limit is filled, offline players (pairs) will be removed ca. 3 minutes before tourney starts. Full is Full. Mixed Pairs tourneys will close registration ca. 5 minutes before start. This is to give the TDs/Hosts a possibility to get an overview if any not mixed pairs have signed in, ( These must expect to be subbed out and get warning)

NEW website

Skandinavia Benelux’s website is just completely renewed. There is some new content, but the MAIN change is the basic structure of the site. The website has existed since the club started in 2004, and because of the gradually addition of new functionality, we had met the wall. It was not possible to improve the website…..  read more…..
